I have a big dream

 I was born in a village and had a big dream..Sometimes you will laugh when i say this.Because this dream is very heavy.I cannot make this dream come true alone.But one day I will be the foundation of this dream.

My village is Kegalle. There were no facilities in my village to fulfill my desires.....You may be wondering what this dream is about.

Actually I have been very fond of art since I was a child.I loved dancing a lot, but there was no place in my city to learn Western and Indian dances other than traditional dance.I had to go to Kandy or Colombo to learn those things   .I tried to participate because of the desire to learn, but I could not fulfill my desires in one place.Due to my mother's busy schedule, my mother could not dedicate a few days to me.My desire would have been fulfilled if I had to learn everything in one place.

This may have been an obstacle for me and many other village children to make their dreams come true.When I was a child I wanted to master the dance and become a dance teacher.But over time, as my experience and learning through the various arts grew, so did my dreams.

There are very few people in Sri Lanka who have mastered foreign arts correctly. The opportunity for children to be mentored by such teachers is very limited. Art has little recognition in Sri Lanka. My dream is to be able to change this.

It is my dream to contribute to the creation of an art gallery with an experienced staff. I do not know how long that dream will last. But I consider it my responsibility to art to accomplish that someday.
